CHUBBY! CHUBBY! Album & Merchandise Design for "Diet Plan"

This project, for 'The Wanted©,' encompassed the design of the 'CHUBBY! CHUBBY! Diet Plan' music album and its accompanying merchandise. The music explores contemporary issues of information overload and the strict pursuit of body image, prompting listeners to reflect on consumption. It features a unique blend of a vocal ensemble with multi-layered electronic arrangements. The album design presents as a chemically-inspired, sweet, and surreal dessert gift box. Its two-tier packaging reveals an upper layer of abundant 'desserts' and a lower layer with a vibrant candy-themed CD. Each song is an individual dessert-themed lyric card; the reverse side lists main ingredients, and a QR code 'View Full Recipe' leads to the band members' creative journey. Album purchases include a donut stress ball for stress relief. The food theme extends to merchandise, featuring 'French Fry Bag Clips' and 'Cake Sock Boxes.' Sock patterns are derived from dessert variations of two songs, ensuring a cohesive and vivid visual experience.
