Our Home Cafe: Cake Packaging Design | WORKS

Our Home Cafe, a coffee shop in Keelung, Taiwan, pivoted to cake delivery due to the pandemic's impact on dine-in service. Two popular cakes, Matcha Forest and Not Tiramisu, were launched for home delivery. Lacking a defined brand image, the design challenge was to attract new customers beyond existing patrons. My solution was to emphasize the cakes' exotic qualities, integrating cultural elements and local customs into a full-wrap, story-driven packaging design that introduces their unique flavors. The layered envelope-style box ensures product protection, creates a sense of anticipation for a premium dessert upon opening, and allows for convenient re-sealing and storage.
